Ales Mydlar leads J.P. Morgan’s sponsor leveraged finance business in Germany/Austria/Switzerland as well as the leveraged finance platform in CEE region. Throughout his career at J.P. Morgan, Ales worked on over 100 successful transactions worth over $100bn.

Ales started his career at J.P. Morgan in 2004 in the firm’s London office as an intern in CEEMEA M&A and coverage teams. In 2005, Ales moved to the Emerging Markets team as an analyst at J.P. Morgan's Equity Capital Markets department covering mainly Central and Eastern Europe including Russia and CIS. Ales also spent 10 months on European Equity Syndicate Desk involved in bookbuilding and selling equity transactions across Europe. In 2011, Ales joined the Acquisition & Leveraged Finance team.

Before joining J.P. Morgan, Ales worked as a financial journalist/editor at a leading Czech economic weekly publication. Having studied at the University of Economics in Prague and the London School of Economics, Ales holds a first-class Master degree in International Economics & Trade and Corporate Finance.

Andrzej Stosio is a qualified Polish advocate, Partner and Co-Head of the Global Financial Markets practice in Warsaw.

The areas of law he specialises in encompass banking and debt capital markets transactions. He advised many financial investors (both sponsors and debt funds), corporates and banks on various types of leveraged finance transactions.

Andrzej has been recognised by independent legal directories, including Chambers Global, Chambers Europe, Legal 500 EMEA and IFLR1000, as a leading lawyer in Banking & Finance, Debt Capital Markets and Restructuring and Insolvency in Poland.

Ben Wilkinson is a partner in Baker McKenzie's Banking and Finance Practice in London.

Ben's experience includes advising investment banks and private credit funds in relation to cross-border acquisition finance transactions, in particular those with complex capital structures.

Ben regularly advises lenders, borrowers and financial advisors in connection with the debt financing of acquisitions of public companies. Ben also acts for a variety of lender syndicates, steering committees, sponsors and companies in relation to various restructuring matters.

Brian is the Head of European High Yield Research at 9fin, where he analyses the European High Yield market.

Previously, he was a Senior Associate in White & Case's Capital Markets Group in London, representing investment banks, private equity sponsors and companies in connection with international securities offerings, including high yield bond offerings.

Brian graduated from the University of Cambridge (Masters), University of Michigan (J.D.), and Adrian College (B.A.).

Carl is responsible for portfolio management of active fixed income funds in Global High Yield. Carl joined LGIM in 2015 as a credit trader with responsibility primarily for its high yield execution before transitioning to portfolio management in April 2020.

Prior to LGIM Carl worked at Alliance Bernstein as a senior trader for the European office, trading for the fixed income team across sovereign, investment grade and high yield debt markets, building close relationships with market counterparts and fixed income systems providers. Carl become a trusted market commentator and regularly attended industry events and joined panel discussions on fixed income market developments and liquidity with regard to trading fixed income.

Prior to that, Carl has worked at Capital Group and Ashmore within the asset management business as well as Credit Suisse and UBS on the investment bank side. Carl graduated from the University of Hull with a BA in management systems in 1994.

Dominic is co-head of EMEA Credit Capital Markets, which covers sub-investment grade loan and bond products, together with structured finance syndications. Previously, he managed responsibilities for loan and mezzanine products after moving to the High Yield Capital Markets desk in 2003.

Dominic joined Goldman Sachs in 2002 as an analyst on the UK Advisory team. He became vice president in 2008 and was named managing director in 2011.

In 2013, Dominic was named 'Most Impressive High Yield Syndicate Banker' in the annual EuroWeek Bond Awards. Dominic is a trustee of Street Child, a UK non-profit that aims to create educational opportunity for some of the most vulnerable children in Africa and Asia. Dominic also earned a double first in Economics from Cambridge University in 2002.

Ed is Managing Director and Head of High Yield & Leveraged Finance in the EMEA Corporates Group at Fitch Ratings. He leads a team of analysts that cover a portfolio of over 400 high yield bond and leveraged loan issuers and writes regularly on developments in the European credit markets.

Gary Simmons is the Managing Director of the AFME High Yield division, for which he leads AFME’s efforts to lower costs and increase efficiency in the execution of high-yield transactions, and lobbies for the reform of corporate insolvency laws. He also heads the AFME Prime Services division, which monitors business, legal and regulatory issues affecting the prime brokerage industry, and provides advocacy for member positions.

Gary is a New York-qualified lawyer and was previously a senior associate at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton. After an initial period in New York, Gary spent several years in London, gaining extensive experience in cross border and emerging markets debt transactions, particularly high-yield bond issuances and leveraged loans.

Gary has a Juris Doctor from Rutgers University School of Law (with honors) and a Bachelor of Arts (with highest honors) from Rutgers University. Following law school, he was a law clerk to the Honorable William H. Walls of the United States Federal District Court, District of New Jersey.

Julie manages all EMEA Core Credit reporters in Europe and oversees their coverage of distressed debt situations and restructurings.

Prior to joining Reorg, Julie was a reporter at Bloomberg News, where she covered leveraged finance and distressed debt.

Julie has an M.A. in English from La Sorbonne.

Lukasz is Head of Sales for CEE region and Ukraine with primary responsibility of generating new interactive client relationships and market outreach. In addition Lukasz manages relationships with the largest S&P clients across the region. Since late 2020 he is also leading locally based team in the Warsaw office. In addition, in mid 2021 he was appointed with CEE Pod Lead responsibility.

Before joining S&P Global Ratings, Lukasz was a Director in the Investment Banking departments (M&A, DCM, ECM) at Citigroup (London and Warsaw), Haitong and PKO BP. At Citibank Handlowy he was actively involved in re-establishing investment banking operations in Warsaw. Prior to moving to Poland he spent over 6 years in London, working for Citibank and Standard Bank in the corporate finance and debt capital markets teams covering the CEEMEA region. Prior to that he worked at IT consulting firm in San Francisco, CA, USA.

Lukasz is FCA-approved investment advisor, with a master’s degree obtained from the University of Economics in Katowice, as well as post-graduate education from Warsaw School of Economics and NYU Stern School of Business and executive education from London Business School. He is also actively involved in start-up ecosystem as a mentor with MIT Enterprise Forum accelerator.

Marcin Chyliński is an attorney-at-law admitted to practice in Poland, a partner and the head of the equity capital markets practice at Baker McKenzie in Warsaw.

He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw in 1998 and qualified as an attorney-at-law in 2002. He is a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar honours graduate of Columbia Law School in New York, where he obtained an LL.M. in 2006.

Prior to joining the Firm in April 2022, Marcin worked at another renowned global law firm for more than two decades, including 11 years as a partner, following which for two years he was a partner and head of equity capital markets practice at a Polish independent law firm founded by the partners of that global law firm after its withdrawal from Poland.

Marcin Iwaniszyn is an attorney-at-law admitted to practice in Poland, a partner and the head of the Banking and Finance Practice at Baker McKenzie in Warsaw.

Marcin graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw in 2006, also completing a course in US law, with distinction, at the Center for American Law Studies co-organized by the University of Warsaw and the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2005, and he qualified as an attorney-at-law in 2010. Prior to joining the Firm in May 2022, Marcin worked at another renowned global law firm starting from 2005, most recently as a partner co-heading the banking and finance practice there. Following the withdrawal of the global firm from Poland, for two years he was a partner and co-head of the banking and finance practice at a Polish independent law firm founded by the partners of that global law firm.

Przemek started his career in the mid '90s in a fixed-income dealing room of Banco Bilbao in London.

Following this, Przemek worked for Citibank UK and as an equity research analyst at UBS. In 1997 Przemek joined Nomura International in London, where he reached the Managing Director position. Przemek also served as the European Business Executive Committee member and the Head of Poland.

After almost 20 years at Nomura, Przemek launched a leading Private Debt advisory firm in the CEE, Gamut Analytics Ltd. During the last two years, Gamut delivered to its clients c EUR600m. Gamut focuses on raising debt and hybrid capital for PE Sponsors and family-owned companies. Typical deals include bank refinancing, capex programs, M&A financing, shareholder buyouts or dividend recaps. Gamut also advises on PE fund-level financing, including multi-asset and single-asset structures, OpCo and HoldCo transactions, GP commitment financing and other flexible solutions. Gamut advises solely the borrowers.

Reza is Managing Director and Head of Strategic Capital and Alternative Finance at Barclays, where he is responsible for leading Barclays’ private credit origination business across the EMEA region.

Prior to establishing the Strategic Capital business in 2022, he was a senior Managing Director in the Leveraged Finance team, where he led Barclays’ sub-investment grade offering in the Industrials, Power, Utilities and Infrastructure sectors in the region. Since arriving to the European market in 2006, Reza has helped lead over $100bn in high yield transactions across leveraged buyout and corporate financings, including landmark transactions for Apax, Apollo, Blackstone, Cerberus, CVC, KKR, Lone Star, Macquarie, PAI, amongst many others.

Prior to joining Barclays in 2014, Reza spent a number of years at Merrill Lynch/BAML in London in Leveraged Finance, High Yield Syndicate and High Yield Sales positions. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University in Canada, where he graduated with Joint Honours in Economics and Finance, and he received an MBA with Distinction from INSEAD in France.

Rob is a partner in the Firm's Capital Markets Group. Rob's clients benefit from his significant experience in multinational corporate and finance transactions, notably high-yield debt offerings.

Working with investment banks and corporates, Rob brings insight and rigour to securities and other finance transactions, including cross-border Rule 144A and Regulation S debt and equity offerings and restructurings.

Simon Bard grew up in Ukraine and studied in Germany. He joined Rothschild & Co in 2006 in Frankfurt and moved to Paris in 2008 covering from there CEE/ CIS / Greece / Turkey for debt advisory and restructuring assignments.
